Project Background

The cooperation between MAXIN’S and VOLKSWAGEN SLOVAKIA started in 2022 on the basis of a selection procedure aimed at recruiting qualified employees from Slovakia, Ukraine and third countries, namely Moldova, for production and operator positions in the automotive industry.

In the selection process, we were able to demonstrate our readiness to meet VW’s requirements, our expertise in the labour market at home and abroad, as well as our readiness to provide comprehensive HR services and maintain high standards in the field of human resources.

Approach and values of cooperation

Our cooperation with VW is based on proactivity and rapid adaptation to client requirements, which allows us to respond flexibly to recruitment needs and implement innovative solutions. Key aspects of the cooperation include:

  • Quick orientation in the plant and setting up an effective recruitment plan
  • Innovative solutions in recruitment processes and flexible response to the needs of quality personnel
  • Proactive communication – Regular meetings, daily telephone and email communication and availability of the HR department
  • Reliability and responsibility in the regularisation and care of employees
  • Innovations in care Employee care, including comprehensive accommodation management and a tailored adaptation process for new employees

Results

We have (so far) achieved the following results in the framework of the cooperation, which illustrate the steady growth in the number of employees and the management of turnover:

Number of employees on the project

Chart I. – A steady increase in the number of employees from April 2023. This growth reflects the efficiency of the recruitment process and MAXIN’S ability to secure sufficient qualified staff for the plant.

Staff turnover

Chart II. – Monthly employee turnover rates where seasonal fluctuations are clearly visible. Thanks to our proactive approach and care for our employees, we manage to keep the turnover rate at an acceptable level – below 10% on average.

Continuity of cooperation

Further in cooperation with VOLKSWAGEN SLOVAKIA:

  • We independently monitor current labour market trends and provide expert know-how to help anticipate and effectively manage recruitment strategies
  • We supply ordered numbers of candidates from outside the EU, particularly from Moldova and Uzbekistan, thus eliminating the shortage of local labour
  • We are constantly working to improve the adaptation processes and employee care, leading to controlled turnover and employee satisfaction

The cooperation has proven to be effective and mutually beneficial, with an emphasis on quality, reliability and flexibility in solving staffing needs in the automotive industry.
